If your university has uploaded your degree or marksheet to the National Academic Depository (NAD), you can see it in DigiLocker, and others can verify it through the NAD verifier.
How to do it
- Sign in to NAD on DigiLocker and search for the university or institution that issued the award.
- Employers and institutions can use the NAD verifier and follow the steps there.
- If the certificate is not there, ask the university's examination section whether that award has been uploaded.
What this does not prove: a missing DigiLocker record does not mean a certificate is fake; not every university uploads every year. And a certificate check answers a different question from a recognition check. If needed, check both.
